What a most beautiful and restful place for our holiday - the phrase "location, location, location" certainly sprang to mind. Le Pessoir is a beautiful cottage and very quaint. Jeanine's sunny disposition is a breath of fresh air - very helpful and hardworking. Merci beaucoup.
This is our first trip to Brittany and it has exceeded all our expectations. La Garenne is a wonderful 'home from home' and the children have loved playing in the pool and the gardens, and they have made some lovely friends with the other families staying here. Nils has even been able to continue his marathon training with runs along the river. Merci beaucoup Jeanine.
We have had a wonderful holiday here in La Garenne. Cottage is beautiful. We really appreciated Jeanine's welcome & friendliness. Enjoyed exploring Brittany for the first time, especially enjoyed Auray market, Rochefort en Terre, & Carnac. Have had good weather and Katie has enjoyed playing with the other children by the pool! La Garenne is a beautiful place to stay. The days that we have spent by the pool have been very relaxing and enjoyable. Cycling down along the river Blavet was a fantastic experience, as was the fishing although the fish eluded us! We enjoyed visiting Carnac, especially on market day. Pont Scorff Zoo was also a great day out - the bird/penguin show was brilliant. Jeanine has been a wonderful host and has kept us entertained. She works very hard and it shows. Our French has improved following our many and varied conversations with Jeanine. A very enjoyable and relaxing holiday.
La Grange has lived up to our expectations - truly beautiful and set in an idyllic spot! The Blavet is magnificent and at last the two avid 'pecheurs' in our party actually managed to catch a large 'something'! The weather has been mainly lovely and great times have been spent by the pool and at the local beaches - Guidel & Port Louis. Jeanine has made us exceptionally welcome and certainly strives to maintain high standards. Thank you! We've had an extremely enjoyable time.

La Garenne was quiet before we arrived and quiet again after we departed! With three young boys who have certainly left an impression on rural France... However, parents are remarkably relaxed, refreshed after a glorious sunny week in a wonderful, truly stunning location. Jeanine has been 'magnifique', helpful, friendly, and entertaining. So much to do, but just as great doing nothing but swim, walk and cycle. Thomas (8), Oliver (6), and Hector (3) still need to master French, so we'll certainly be back!
We found La Garenne and Brittany so lovely. The views and walking along the river bank were stunning. We had a lovely Sunday lunch at Vallee Verte. The first few days we relaxed by the pool in nice sunny weather, but as the weather turned grey and then into rain, we still found much to do. Trips out to the Zoo at Pont Scorff, then Auray, Vannes, La Trinite sur Mer, Hennebont, & Port Louis. Jeanine has been extremely helpful and has ways and means of ensuring we all enjoyed ourselves. We were 3 generations aged between 86 and 21 and all of us have only good things to say about La Garenne. It was like staying in a rural 5 star facility with everything you could ever need. The welcome pack on our arrival was outstanding. Facilities were great, very private and the pool not overcrowded with great views and cycling. A very relaxing holiday which we would do again but is not for those who want the bright lights, TV or internet connections!
