We had a good week here in June. Sadly the weather was not particulary good so we weren't really able to enjoy the pool, grounds or barbecue. However, if it had been dry these facilities would have been fantastic and the pool and grounds were perfectly maintained. Instead we enjoyed a roaring fire some evenings, with plenty of fuel for the wood burner from the woodpile!!

There is plenty to do in the area and day trips out to Carnac, Lorient and some of the coastal resorts were enjoyable, as was the market at Hennebont. The bar/restaurant at the bridge only serves food at lunchtime. We ate in a fair bit - allowed us to have some wine without driving- and the cooking facilities were excellent with plenty of dishes, pots etc.
Beds were comfortable and bathroom nicely fitted.

Jeanine was very welcoming and once you were settled in unobtrusive, but there if you needed her, or wanted a chat (in pidgeon french/english).

The welcome pack was great - good quality ham and pate, cheese, fruit, wine, milk and other treats and we dined well on the contents.

So, even for a rainy week in June we enjoyed the cottage greatly and found plenty to do and see. If it had been sunny I doubt we would have ventured far!
